Challenging today’s hustle culture in the workplace

The work break was a concept introduced centuries ago to combat workplace stress. But in today’s world that overvalues work, companies tend to prioritize productivity over employee wellness. It’s one reason why employees across workplaces, from the C-Suite to the frontline, are struggling with mental health and wellbeing.

Mind Share has partnered with Pure Leaf on a Tea Break Grant program as the subject matter expert on positively changing company culture. The grant is part of Pure Leaf’s national campaign to promote tea break culture across America, featuring actor Lindsay Lohan.

The Pure Leaf Tea Break Grant Program will provide funding for small businesses and 501(c)(3) nonprofits to implement innovative break initiatives that promote employee wellbeing.

You can apply for a grant on behalf of your organization at:

Small businesses and 501(c)(3) nonprofits need to apply before August 22, 2024 to be considered. In order to strengthen your application, we encourage you to review the full “guiding principles” crafted by Mind Share Partners on the grant application page.

If you are interested in learning more about break culture, we invite you to explore Pure Leaf’s  “State of the Break” report. The report found 63% of workers had feelings of exhaustion (mentally exhausted or burnt out) when they skipped their break. If you’re a manager or a worker, these tips make breaks better.
