The Need
OLLY believes that wellness starts with realness. As an organization, they knew that a people-first company is good for business, and success follows when everyone can bring their authentic selves to work. For the organization to truly embody this, they needed to walk the talk as an employer.
OLLY recognized the need to actively work on creating a culture that names, discusses, and addresses mental health at work. But they also recognized that they couldn’t do this work alone. Olly sought out experts in the field to advise them on how to best foster a mentally healthy workplace and create actionable change.
OLLY was drawn to Mind Share Partners as a nonprofit organization, including its focus on culture and recognition that this problem extends beyond just employees or one employer. Mind Share Partners core values and beliefs as an organization matched OLLY’s social mission of affecting change for everyone.
The Solution
Mind Share Partners worked with OLLY to implement a custom culture change strategy aligned with the OLLY’s needs, and helped them walk the talk around their social mission of supporting mental health. The strategy included:
A discovery and diagnostics report to develop a customized mental health framework for OLLY
Three Leadership Team sessions focused on developing a mental health roadmap for OLLY employees
Manager training and all-team training (with a specific session tailored to burnout) to strengthen OLLY’s cultural foundation for mental health
Mind Share also contributed to OLLY’s first-ever social impact report.

The Impact
Mind Shares’ work shined a light on OLLY’s opportunities and areas for growth. Training sessions gave OLLY employees and managers tools to better name and discuss the impact that mental health has on their work, and vice versa. OLLY’s leadership team now has a clear framework and guiding principles for how the organization thinks about mental health at work and what this means in OLLY’s work culture.
